This is the first time I've attempted a wrap in a crouched position. You can see there is definitely a nice shape around the derriere part. I'm hoping to can keep that beautiful contour into the final piece.
I'm still working out where the seams are going to go when it comes to that shapely rear end. Lots of different options... This is really exploring new territory for me.
I'm happy with the way it's looking so far... More to come.
Hi Christopher,
ReplyDeleteIs there a chance that you produce a custom hood for me? I have some fotos and also videos from the net which are some years old. After several hours of search in the net I have not found the designer or where it is from. But I really like the design and would like to have it.
Sorry Tor1987, I'm not taking on any orders for custom work at this time. My focus is on personal projects.
DeleteThanks for your reply
DeleteTor1987: Contact me please at bloverog@gmail.com, I'm also planning to make myself a few new hoods, maybe we could help each other, and share our experiences. I have already made 7-8 hoods.. :)
ReplyDeleteChristopher. I found a tape at Menard's in the plumbing section called title tape. It is black PVC tape. Just a bit wider then duct tape. I find it actually molds better to the shape of the body and works better for making patterns.
ReplyDeleteS/V MutulFun,
DeleteIs it stretchy though? I would want the tape to hold the shape without distorting. I know lots of people use PVC tape for bondage... because of the stretch. But duct tape is pretty good at doing what I need it to do.
It only streaches if you pull it hard. It molds really well to the body. Les then $6 a roll.
ReplyDeleteThanks Randy, I'm going to have to check it out. Even the duct tape can spring back a bit if it's applied too tight, or if the wrap sits around for too long.
DeleteEven after two months I'm checking your blog almost every day, still thrilled and excited to see the outcome. You can do absolutely great things with leather, so I think it will look awesome. :)
ReplyDeleteSorry it's taking so long for updates. We've had house guests from out of town, so not much progress is being made!
DeleteNah, don't apologize about that, take all the time you need. I'm not impatient, I wanted to let you know that I'm just very excited to see the outcome of this unique project, no matter when it's finished.
DeleteAnd if it would take three years, I would still wait patiently. It's better to give good projects all the time they need. Just keep up the good work and stay awesome. :D

ReplyDeleteI'll have to look into getting some to try out!
