Product testing...

We recently tried the sleepsack with attached hood over an armbinder with a severe 3.5-inch-tall patent leather posture collar just to top it all off... I'm kind of amazed she could handle the armbinder inside the sleepsack - it's a pretty strenuous position. But overall we have to declare the experiment a success. =0)

The surprising thing is I had extra room on either side of the sack with her arms in the armbinder. I could actually make a more fitted sack (without internal sleeves) to really be snug in the waist area, but it would only fit in that position. It might just be worth it though - it looked incredible!

  1. I'm curious, what are those things in the second picture to the upper right? They look like some kind of fingerless gloves. Maybe worn inside the armbinder for more complete leathery sensation?

The hood and sack look wonderfully snug with your friend inside!

  2. Those are the bondage mittens she usually wears in the sack which makes the internal sleeves even more fitted. But they didn't get used inside the armbinder, as it already fits pretty tight... =0)

    1. Sorry about that... But it's better to have a little taste than nothing at all, right?

  4. I am so happy when you publish new posts.
This one is fantastic to see and you model/user of your stuff must be very happy to get their gear so perfect fit.
It´s so difficult for me to get right fit when I can not be at the "outside" to see where to put the seems to get it real tight and nice. For me I have to measure and test again and again and for the most I have to make a new piece as it has been to tight to get it on....
Just now I have got my hoodpattern so tight as it possible can be, if I place the stiches 1 mm to close when I make a new hood it will not fit. :-)
    LOVLEY to see your work.

    1. Thanks so much for the comment, Soren! It's the good thing about making it yourself. I do keep trying until it's just right. And the tricky part is making adjustments for the stretch of the leather. A pattern that works in one weight will not work at all in another due to differences in stretch and thickness. It can be so frustrating, but when it works well (as it does with this sack), there's nothing sexier.
