Long Bondage Mitten Pattern

Hello all! I have been hard at work making digital versions of a bunch of leather project patterns lately, and will have a series of them to share with you in the near future. There will be patterns for the butterfly straitjacket as well as my latest hood designs and an armbinder.

It is taking a bit of time to digitize everything, but hopefully it will be worth the wait...

The first pattern in this new set is the long bondage mitten project I first made a few months ago. I actually made another pair this past weekend in a gorgeous red lamb leather (with a couple of matching hoods). These are made to be extremely tight, and have zippers at the wrist to allow a very close fit.

I am actually hoping to put together a little instruction sheet with a materials list for each project as well, but for now this is all I can do! Bear with me, there are only so many hours in the day...

Remember, you'll need to edit the pattern to match your model's measurements, and to take into account your leather thickness and fit preferences as well. But, at least this should be a good starting-off point for you to work from - a shop-tested, working pattern.

  1. imho - the exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail evident in the body of your work transforms them from brilliant bondage restraints into works of art.

  2. Thanks, Ms. Charlotta! I can't wait to see what Ms. Karen Hsiao does with these - they were made for her to use on a series she is working on... red and black themed. I've seen some of her preview images, and they look incredible.

    1. Hi, I just happened in here by accident.
I have been a fan of your Deviant page, but never visited this blog.
(I've was searching for the Butterfly Straight jacket and Google took me here.)

      Man I love your blogs.

      Very informative stuff.

Long ago, I made a similar pair of mittens, based on a Stanton drawing I saw in episode 10 of Pleasure Bound. These laced at the wrists. I added a 'D' ring at the opening at the top, which secures to a stiff punishment collar.

Afterwards, I had wished I added a D ring to them at the fingertip.

I'm surprised I haven't seen that feature on your amazing mittens.

    2. Dear Ed,

Thanks, and glad you like the blog! I love Stanton, his stuff is so inspiring... The mittens I've done lately are really soft lamb leather, and they probably wouldn't take the stress of a D-ring very well. I'm currently working on a set of mittens for straitjacketed.com that will have D-rings at the tips. I completely agree that it's a great look!

  3. Love your work, was wondering if you have a male version patterns or how much to upsize?

    1. Dear Buggy72,

I would just recommend taking measurements and adjusting as you go... the pattern I posted is a tight fit for a very petite hand, wrist and arm. A test-fit in vinyl is also a good idea before committing to the final in leather!
