Sorry It took a while, but I had to test the final pattern to make sure everything would come out just right before making it public. This is the culmination of many years of trial and error in armbinder making, and should help you make a beautiful, form-fitting armbinder, or at least give you a head start on making your own design.

Alice Auaa Video

Thanks to Hitchhiker.nl for sending the link to a video of the Alice Auaa show. It is a whole different thing to see the designs in motion, and the rear view on many of the outfits is quite surprising as well! Awesome show... I love how the girls just materialize out of the fog.

Don't miss the designer taking a bow at the 17-minute mark - I won't spoil it, but you could definitely say he has a sense of humor.

Fashion meets Fetish - Alice Auaa Fall 2014 Collection

Thanks to amazing artist Kate O'Brien for sending me the link to the Alice Auaa Fall 2014 fashion show on Women's Wear Daily.com. She thought I might be interested in seeing it for some reason... Well, I guess you could say that.

Fashion designers are doing some amazing things with leather lately, and with the widespread popularity of Fifty Shades of Grey (and appropriation of kinky imagery in general) it does my heart glad to see such straight-forward fetish clothing on the runway. This isn't perv-inspired: it is perv. 100%, straight-up, dungeon-ready. This would make John Willie so happy.

I particularly like the braided pony-tail coming out of the top of the hoods. Like a leather whip handle. And the girls all have their own whips as well - of course!
This look: the hood under the fur-lined parka hood. That's got to be a first. Some kind of fetish triple-trifecta. Boots, leather, fur, gloves... so many layers of fetish, I'm losing track.
And those boots... *sigh*

Check out the whole collection here.

What does bondage mean to you?

Dalton Ott from Serious Bondage posted a great article a few weeks ago (which you can read for yourself here). In it he discusses his personal experience of bondage, and what he seeks to get out of it - and more interestingly to me - what he doesn't.

I always find it fascinating to hear others talk about their bondage preferences, because although a lot of the gear is the same, the experience is unique for each individual.

The more I understand about people's individual twists and kinks, the more I find unique and subtle differences. Everyone has their own life experiences and viewpoints, personalities and desires, and there are so many ways to experience mental and physical journeys through this kind of gear and play.

Neither Here Nor There

Sorry for the lack of updates lately. I’ve been dealing with a bunch of bad stuff, including the fact that my dad died a few weeks ago. It’s been the worst 5-6 weeks of my life without a doubt. I have been pretty much hiding out from the world.

The good news is: I’m getting help and I’m coming to peace with my dad’s passing. Other problems are being solved, one at a time. I am just starting to feel normal again, and I'm looking forward to brighter days ahead.

I am hoping to get back into the swing of things shortly...

Take care, and thanks very much to everyone who has sent words of love and support.

Serene Isley puts armbinder to work...

Serene Isley has been kind enough to keep me posted on the things the armbinder I made for her a while back has been up to, including a supporting role in the video posted here on clips4sale.comIt is really fun and rewarding to see something I made being put to good use. Especially on a tall, hobbled, ball-gagged blonde beauty. Thanks, Serene! Keep up the good work...

Seabrook Hood - An Update...

Seabrook drawing on a hood made of velvet.

I just received an email from my friend PJW (the great fetish photographer), who may have more information about the William Seabrook-commissioned hood I wrote about in my last post. He thinks I might have the wrong hood pictured in the post, and I'll be the first to admit, I might...

He sent a link to a Click Magazine story, circa November 1942. (You can download the complete scan here at OldMagazineArticles.com.) The article is about Seabrook, his travels and writings, and experiments, and includes an image of a woman (possibly Seabrook's 3rd wife Constance?) in the hood shown below:

Note the torn leather at the neck in front - obviously a thin leather was used, probably for the tightest possible fit. Also, I'm thinking the hood was probably used quite a bit!
The caption to the article seems to describe the same hood mentioned in "Witchcraft Its Power In The World Today" – "...a leather hood of skin-tight glacĂ© kid. Made to order by an Italian leather artisan..."

The article has a couple of other images as well, including one of another hood mentioned in "Witchcraft,"- the one made of suede leather. This photo is interesting to me because it shows a  studded collar in use which I believe is the same one depicted by the surrealist photographer Man Ray.
I also enjoyed seeing the collection of artifacts, masks and furniture Seabrook collected on his travels around the world. It's hard to me to believe that within 3 years of these photos being taken, Seabrook would take his own life by suicide. But he was obviously a man tormented by his own demons.

As far back as 1934, in "The White Monk of Timbuctoo" he wrote:

"I myself am a free man in the limited sense that I am ready at all times to defy ordinary conventions at any price, including–if need be–that of my reputation or my money or my life, rather than forgo what I call my freedom–but I am neither good nor happy."
